All newly plastered walls and ceilings have a ‘mist’ coat applied first to seal the plaster, the ceilings and walls then have two coats of emulsion applied in both the colour and finish of the customer’s choice. All bare wood has a knotting solution applied prior to being primed using an acrylic wood primer. All woodwork is then prepared, undercoated and then top coated in either gloss or eggshell paint. On problem walls where hairline cracks keep appearing it is best to hang lining paper first, then when dry two coats of emulsion can be applied over the top.
